Once your board has agreed the appointment and an initial onboarding and understanding of your business has been completed, your Nature Guardian will begin attending board meetings.  

As the voice for nature, you can expect feedback on your board's decisions and their impact on the environment - positive or negative.  Comments are captured and fed into your annual report for elevated transparency.

That's entirely your call. The beauty of this process is that it is designed to improve transparency.  You may have perfectly valid reasons for your decisions, and these can be captured and shared as part of your reporting process.  This gives you an opportunity to explain your decision making, and how you will commit to a greener choice in the future. 

All our Nature Guardians must be able to demonstrate a commitment to sustainability with at least five years experience.  Beyond that, we also look for sector expertise and a strong, demonstrable business acumen. A love of nature is a must!
