Many companies are taking action to reduce emissions. This is great news and remains important. But recent science shows us that the nature crisis is now even more pressing than the climate crisis.
Biodiversity loss in the UK is particularly worrying:
- Hundreds of UK species are now at risk of disappearing altogether
- A recent world-leading study from State of Nature, finds one in six species at risk of being lost from Great Britain
- 41 percent of UK species have declined since 1970s
